Top CS:GO Teams and Tournaments To Bet On

News

If you’re looking for some CS:GO betting tips to help increase your chance at pulling in profit, take a look at the suggestions I have shared in this article.

Understanding Bankroll

Before we get into the CS:GO tips, let me cover one very important tip for any type of gambling. You must be able to cover your losses. You can’t win every bet, so you need to be able to have enough money to the side to cover losses so you can make it back in future games.

With that in mind, here’s a look at how much you should bet on each of your games.

  • High risk bet – no more than 5% of your bankroll
  • Medium risk bet – Consider using no more than 10% of your bankroll
  • Low risk bet – Use as much as 20% of your bankroll
  • Underdog punt – if you want to test your odds on an underdog game, I’d suggest not using more than 1% of your bankroll.

Top Teams To Bet On

Now that you’ve learned about bankrolls, let’s look at the top teams worth betting on currently.

Best For SK

SK is the top team in the world right now. If you’re after some easy returns, we’d suggest betting on SK against the majority of teams.

If it’s a Best Of One: Don’t bet on SK if they’re up against any other top tier team. (FaZe, Cloud9, Astralis, G2.) Odds will lean in SK’s favor, but there’s chance for an upset.

Many top tier teams have had a history of failing to pull out best of one victories against no-name teams, but from what I’ve seen so far, SK seems to be one of the most consistent teams and they manage to deal with no name teams quite well, even if they haven’t played against them before.

SK do sometimes seem to struggle against high tier North American teams, so a best of one scenario against an NA team could be an opportunity to make a high risk bet.

If It’s a Best Of Three/Five: The majority of matchups for SK are worth betting on in a best of 3 or best of 5. We’d suggest avoiding matchups against FaZe, but in most other cases SK should have a good chance to win.

Bet Against Virtus.Pro

Virtus.Pro are still holding onto their past victories. This means they’ll still be invited to a few events that’ll contain the world’s best teams. The trouble with VP is that they’re performing terribly right now. Any matchup against another top tier team will be a good opportunity for you to bet against Virtus.Pro.
